Friday Diversion Frasier and Dawson Sell; ‘Brangelina’ Rents

Kelsey Grammer, best known for playing “Frasier” on “Cheers” and a later spin-off, has sold a Los Angeles house for $3.3 million, 19% less than he paid for it in 2007, and leased a seven-bedroom English-style manor after it failed to sell for $18.9 million.
Tom DeLonge of rock-pop band Blink-182 has relisted his San Diego-area home for $5.1 million, more than 20% below what he spent for the house, renovations and décor. In 2005, the 33-year-old singer and his wife, Jennifer, an interior designer, paid $5.5 million for the house in Rancho Santa Fe, a bedroom community about 25 miles north of the city. The couple spent more than $1 million on renovations and décor, according to their listing agent, Laura Barry, of Barry Estates.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will reportedly be paying $100,000 a month for an apartment at the Waldorf Towers in New York City. The apartment features five bedrooms plus a library that they have converted into a sixth, up to six baths and a huge gourmet kitchen. Other residences in the building are priced at between $9,000 and $140,000, according to StreetEasy.

The L.A. Times reports that there’s been pre-foreclosure activity on the home of former Mets and Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Lenny Dykstra.
Dawson is selling. Actor James Van Der Beek, of known for his role on TV show “Dawson’s Creek” has listed his L.A. home at $2.445 million, the L.A. Times reports. Built in 1999, the nearly 3,000-square-foot gated home has three bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms. There is an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue and bar. The upstairs master suite has a fireplace, beamed cathedral ceiling and a walk-in closet.
